PRI to host a NONMEM course
PRI is currently working with a major university to host a 3 week introductory NONMEM course. We will post more information as soon as we have specific details.

ProMoMo Speed Inc. Photos from MX Cup
Diane and Steve were on the track again, this time in Homestead, FL at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. This was their first time racing in the Skip Barber MX Cup Series. Stay tuned they race again at Laguna Seca in March!

ProMoMo Speed Inc. is changing gears
ProMoMo Speed Inc. is changing gears in 2009. Continuing to test our driving prowess in different formats we are racing in a new series, the Skip Barber Mazda Speed Series. Along with that we will also be doing the Michelin Challenge Series with our super-modified Dodge Vipers. We drive road course events, which involves both speed and technical skill, and have placed as regional and national champions. Check back to see our results and photos.

0 data values
PRI has been working on pharmacodynamic models that can handle 0 data values effectively. In some cases, the pharmacodynamic effects of a drug can remove or decrease a pharmacodynamic response to a 0 value, which can result in numerical instability. PRI is now investigating methods of handling these 0 values. We will provide more on this topic in the next installment!

2008 Racing Circuit Update
After 5 of the 12 races this season and a rough start with engine problems for car #69 in the first 3 events, Steve is currently in first place in the western region and in 2nd place in the eastern region and Diane is running 2nd in the western region and 4th in the eastern region. The most recent event, Mid Ohio, saw cold temperatures and slippery track conditions. Despite numerous accidents by other contenders, Steve and Diane finished the event but failed to take podium positions.

Training in Modeling and Simulation
PRI offers training in modeling and simulation. We can provide on site training or web-based training that is customized for your needs. PRI provides training on topics such as: Introduction to Modeling and Simulation in Nonmem (this is a three day course) Advanced Topics in Modeling and Simulation - this can cover a variety of topics such as changes in Nonmem VI, Mixture Models and can be provided as a short series of lectures over the web or on site.
